Greatest Clippers Season In Progress 2012-13

It's real. It's a real thought straight from my brain that this is one hell of a Clippers basketball season. The rumors suggest that these guys are the best in the fucking NBA. Say what? And usually I'm there, game in and game out, trying to tell those facebookers just how great they are -- but this year, I haven't done that. I've kept my excitement at bay for fear that things are always cursed. And having a curse requires a sense of skepticism, which I have. I've been following them since 1989. Every year if it isn't one thing, it's 20 things. Sterling's son died, and that hasn't stopped them. Chris Paul went down, and without him they are still staying spectacular. People don't trash me when I walk down the street in my Clipper gear. No no! They high-five me, and call me wise. I attend games, me and and two buddies have split season seats for 10 years. I love our seats, and I love the 9 or 10 games I attend each season. They looked great many times, or so I thought, but this year is something different. Watching them is amazing and I feel confident, finally, that any game is within reach. Used to write a lot about these guys. I covered Blake's rookie campaign closely. But I got so discouraged, and busy, that I dropped that gig after that season. Imagine all the hits I'd be gobbling up now! That's cool. One last thing you should know about me and how being a Clip fan translates into real-life betterment of my person. I made a pact, as I do each season, that I would work out OR write an article during each Clip game of the season that I do not attend. Blogging counts. That's it. I just have been so low-profile this season that I didn't want to feel any less of a fan.
